Brock University Faculty of Education

Introduction

We see learning as a force of positive change that builds civil, progressive societies. Our programs are built on principles that respect differences, advance social justice, and expand global and community awareness. We strive to create a learning environment where our students gain the skills they need to have maximum impact on the lives of their students and the communities they serve after they graduate.

Brock University Faculty of Education also includes programs that to prepare educators to use their skills outside of the traditional classroom as well. Transferrable skills that educators develop are also valued in non-profit and corporate settings. With that in mind we are pleased to announce two certificate programs, the Canadian Culture in Education Studies, and the Leadership in Community-based Education, that are designed with the needs and goals of international students in mind. Both certificates include integrated academic advising and seminars to help you determine your next steps. The Leadership certificate includes internships as well.
